We’re about to make your wildest island fantasies come true with four words…Gay holiday in Seychelles! Yes, honey, we’re all about that island life, and Seychelles is one of our most-loved gay-friendly destinations to flee to when the world gets a bit much, we crave a sweet cocktail, want an enviable summer glow and show off the hard work we’ve been putting in at the gym. Or, you know, when we just want to lie back and keep those cocktails coming…

In the Summertime, When the Weather is Fine
There’s something almost too perfect about Seychelles (if there ever could be such a thing, of course!). The powdery white sand set against dramatic granite boulders lapped gently by azure waves…it looks surreal!
The weather makes it even more unbelievable. Did you know that Seychelles has 365 days of sunshine? So, the summer parties never stop! You can expect a balmy 26-28 degrees Celsius weather.

Best Time to Travel to Seychelles
Okay, sure, you’re probably thinking, the weather might be mighty fine all year, but surely there will be a best time to visit for my gay holiday to Seychelles? Well, yes. The peak time, and therefore the busiest, is from May to October. You can expect a slightly different experience throughout the year, so here’s a quick breakdown of the months.
The Rainy Season: November-March
We might’ve promised sunshine all year, but that does not exclude some rain! As an equatorial archipelago, rainfall comes in short bursts. Between November and March, you can also expect quite high humidity.
However, a highlight during this time is seeing the turtles Seychelles is famed for. The Hawksbill sea turtle nest from October to December, and you can watch their little ones mission towards the ocean between January and March.
Bring on the Heat: April
Feeling hot, hot, hot? You will be if you visit Seychelles in April! This is the perfect time of year if you love soaking up the sun and splashing around in the clear ocean waters.

Sunny Side Up: May-September
Want warm days but not too hot? May to September offer delightfully warm days to spend on the beach, and these are also the driest months of the year.
Clear Waters: October
Love diving? The waters are calm and dry during October, making it perfect for underwater exploration.

Top Activities in Seychelles
Wondering what you’ll fill your days with while in sunny Seychelles? Oh, but you have plenty of options! Some days might be spent lazing, others partying the night away, or perhaps you want to get your heart racing. It can all happen in this slice of paradise.
Sunbathing and Chilling
In a setting so blissful, of course, you’d want to set aside a day (or two, or three…) to catch up on reading as well as working on your tan. Many of the luxury resorts will be set right on the beach, and you can often jump into the pool, then into the ocean, rinse and repeat. And with some of the best beaches in the world, long walks on the beach are in order!

Admiring Sea Turtles
Seychelles is known for its sea turtles, in particular the Hawksbill sea turtle. They breed and scatter their nests along the coastline. If you visit between October and December, you can see the babies make their way to the big blue sea.

Visiting Giant Tortoises
Meet Seychelles’ oldest residents, the Aldabra giant tortoises. Some as old as 150 years, it’s incredible to see them in real life. And yes, as the name suggests, they’re huge!

Deep Diving
With water this clear and the weather so wonderful, it just makes sense to want to dive deep underwater to see the rainbow of marine life. Of course, you can also enjoy any other watersports like stand-up paddling too! The ocean is your, well, oyster.

Swimming with Whale Sharks
The whale shark might sound scary, but it’s entirely harmless! As the biggest fish in all of the ocean, they can weigh up to 20 tonnes! Now just imagine casually moving past them for a closer look. August to November is the best time to see them, and you should ideally head to the island of Mahé.
Jungle Expeditions
Channel your inner Jane or Tarzan by heading inland to the cool shade of the jungle! You can take it on with your own two feet, by bicycle, or paddle in a kayak along the streams running through the jungle.
